Plant 1

The original fabrication workshop to the western junction site, this workshop was first used for steel manufacturing in 1982. Over the years since many vital projects have been fabricated in this workshop, these vary from pipework & conveyors to wind tower shells and bridges. Spanning over 6200 sqm this workshop has the space and equipment to fabricate any required job.

Some Plant 1 Equipment includes:

  • Kinetic K3000 Heavy Duty Precision Plasma Cutter with capabilities of cutting upto 250mm Mild Steel plate
  • 500T x 6m Break Press
  • Faccin 4HEL Plate Rollers
  • 1 x 40 tonne overhead crane
  • 2 x 25 tonne overhead cranes
  • 1 x 16 tonne overhead crane
  • 9 x 10 tonne overhead crane
  • 3 x 5 tonne overhead crane
  • 1 x 3 tonne overhead crane

Paint Shop

  • 2500sqm of Painting space
  • Shot Blaster (3m x 1.2m x 30m Max Capacity)
  • 2 x 10 tonne overhead cranes

Plant 2 & 3

These two areas up setup for long, heavy fabrication works. A large majority of the projects fabricated in Plant 2 or 3 are either large bridge girders or wind tower sections. The Plant 2 building was originally constructed in 2008 with Plant 3 being built as an extension in 2019. Newer, bigger projects require larger more sophisticated fabrication areas and we have adapted to suit this need at Haywards Western Junction.

Some Plant 2 & 3 Equipment includes:

  • 5500 sqm of fabrication space
  • 4 x 80 tonne overhead cranes
  • 4 x 40 tonne overhead cranes
  • 2 x 25 tonne overhead cranes
  • 1 x 16 tonne overhead crane
  • 1 x 10 tonne overhead crane
  • Plate rollers with capabilities of up to 110mm plate
  • Boom Welders reaching up to 8.5m high

Storage Yard

With ever growing jobs being pushed out of the workshop doors, space is a key requirement. Whether it be to store a job that site isn't quite ready for site or to test bolt a complete bridge. With over 34,000 sqm of Yard space we have more then enough capacity to suit any jobs space requirements.
